This is my general Terms of Service. I will also include one in your invoice with only the sections relevant to your commission along with any changes made based on our discussion of said commission.

Process

1. You fill in this order form.
2. I send you an acceptance email, ask for clarification or additional references if needed
   • If you've given a written reference we can discuss an extra design fee (please check this page for more information).
   • If you're commissioning an illustration at this point I'll give you a quote and we can discuss further details.
3. Once all the details are settled I send you a PayPal invoice and when that is paid I start on the commission.
4. For most regular commissions I'll send you 2-4 initial idea sketches to choose from. I might send more wips (works in progress) as I continue but these are the only ones you're guaranteed to get unless you specifically ask for more.
   • I don't send sketches for sketch or experimental commissions, you'll only get the final product.
   • I might reuse the posing/composition of any sketches you don't choose for other unrelated art. If you want to save one to commission in the future let me know and I can offer a discount for that time!
5. You choose which sketch you want me to go forward with and check for anything you want changed. After you give me approval I move on to finishing it.
6. I send you the final image and you let me know if there's anything you want changed.
   • Revisions for aspects of the design that I've missed are free.
   • You can get up to 2 free minor changes. What counts as a minor change depends on the image but here's a few examples of what could count as a minor change:
     • A subtle change of expression
     • Color change in a flat area (as opposed to color change of a detailed pattern)
     • A small change in hairstyle
   • Any larger or further changes we can negotiate an additional fee to do.

You Receive

For digital commissions the final files will be sent over email and will include:

• A small resolution file of the final drawing with my watermark (ideal for posting)
• A large resolution file of the final drawing

For traditional commissions the scanned and cleaned images will be sent over email and will include:

• A small resolution cleaned scan of the final drawing with my watermark
• A large resolution cleaned scan of the final drawing
• I'm currently not offering traditional commissions to be sent by mail, these will be digital files only

Turnaround

• The turnaround time from invoice payment to receiving the final files is usually 1-3 weeks.
• If you need the commission by a certain date let me know! I'll do my best to accommodate you but may charge a rush fee if the timeline is too short.
• If I anticipate it that it will take longer for any reason I'll let you know and give you an updated turnaround estimate. I'll also send more wips as I make progress.
• If I take over 2 months without showing wips you can cancel your commission and get a full refund regardless of what stage I'm at with it.

Cancelation and Refunds

• Any refunds will not include money lost through the paypal transaction fee.
